DELHI- AGRA- AMRITSAR 4N/5D BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1 – Arrival in Delhi & Transfer to Agra
Arrive at Delhi Airport and meet the representative for assistance.
Proceed directly to Agra by road, approximately 220 km / 4 hours.
Arrive in Agra and check in at the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 – Agra Sightseeing & Transfer to Delhi
Early morning visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal and enjoy its beautiful morning views.
Return to the hotel for breakfast.
After a short rest, visit the impressive Agra Fort, the historic Mughal palace and citadel.
Later, proceed back to Delhi.
Check in at the Delhi hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.
Day 3 – Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi.
Visit India Gate, Delhi Red Fort, Raj Ghat and Qutub Minar.
Drive past the President’s House and Parliament House.
In the evening, visit Akshardham Temple and enjoy the spectacular laser show.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Delhi to Amritsar & Wagah Border
Early morning transfer to the railway station to board the train to Amritsar.
Arrive in Amritsar around noon and proceed to Wagah Border, approximately 30 km / 45 minutes away.
Witness the famous Wagah Border Closing Ceremony, featuring the spectacular parade and ceremonial proceedings.
Return to Amritsar city.
Visit the beautifully illuminated Golden Temple in the evening.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 – Amritsar Sightseeing & Departure
After breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh, the historic memorial associated with the 1919 massacre.
Visit Durgiana Temple, an important Hindu temple built in the architectural style of Sikh Gurudwaras.
Later, transfer to Amritsar Airport for the onward journey.
Return home with wonderful memories of your journey through historic India.
